The sport is indeed mind-numbing, that it is almost impossible to play if you are not doing something else at the same moment with OSRS gold. You said that there are lots of fantastic content creators, but the one reason they are there is because they can literally make the content and play with the sport in the exact same moment. There is overpowered gear hidden behind arbitrarily low drop prices. The economy is mainly broken, NPC stores are useless and inflation is a problem. Even though these bugs were true attributes, the grid-based and ability-less nature of the battle system cuts out many of these tactical elements of other MMO battle systems.
There’s no positioning. There is counter play options or no build variation. You do have to learn how to utilize a rotation. You almost always stand in one place, fight one guy, and see who will click through a list menu quicker. You’re also required to buy or craft consumables inorder to stand a opportunity. There’s not any level climbing, so unless you’re near max level, whichever participant has grinded for more will always win.OSRS is merely a skinnerbox, made to suck as much time from it’s players as you can, so that they continue paying JAGEX their inflated subscription fees for far longer than they ought to. It is a psychological trap designed to plead on those that are easily hooked on it is drip-feed of dopamine.
It is not for everybody. It’s the exact same manner which Stardew Valley is a phenomally glorious game, but again, not for everybody. Stardew valley has exactly the same”grind” pretty much, but it does not make it a bad game. And”overpowered gear hidden behind arbitrarily low drop rates” What do you mean lol, a twisted bow is around 2Billion OSRS gp, which is around $1500(?)
The question is… why would you get a 99 skill? Theres no need to maximum some skill to 99 to play the sport. Yes some end game PVM requires a FEW non-combat skills to be pretty high (not even near 99 however ). Im now 109 battle (126 is maximum ) in my main, and all my non-combat abilities are 70 or lower, which can be pretty easy to achieve and high enough for pretty much everything I want to do to buy RS gold. Additionally im playing with casual. There are weeks that im playing 1 hour. Nevertheless I do anything I was doing when I logged out and hop and can advance back in at any moment.
